Clinical Implementation Specialist

 Job Description:

    * The CIS will work with the Sales Staff, Customer Support Staff and Programming Staff at NEXTGEN to coordinate training for new users and existing users of the NextGen software applications.
    * Will work with Hospital customers to plan software implementations, travel and training schedules and telephone support functions.
    * Will put together training materials, (course schedules, course syllabus, instruction manuals, PowerPoint presentations, etc.), to be used in conjunction with on-site and remote training sessions.
    * Will be required to plan and execute travel to clinical sites.
    * Will provide classroom style and one-on-one training in the use of the NextGen applications.
    * Will be required to work closely and effectively with the Administrative Team, Department Directors and clinical personnel at the Hospitals/clinical sites.
    * Will be required to provide site visit follow-up letters that detail the progress made during the on-site visit and an action plan of tasks to be accomplished prior to the next on-site visit.
    * Will be required to provide regular briefings to NextGen management regarding problems, successes and status of the implementation.
    * The CIS will become “the face” of NextGen to our customers after the sales process and will be required to act with professionalism and courtesy in all dealings with the customer.

Required Skills:

    * Excellent Communication Skills, (verbal and written)
    * Excellent Organizational Skills and Task Management
    * Teaching Experience
    * Minimum 2-5 year’s healthcare experience
    * Experience in using an electronic healthcare software
    * Must have Pharmacy Tech, or RN background
    * Ability to travel 60% to 70%

Education Requirements (including certifications):

    * Prefer Registered Nurse, will consider other clinical candidates

Proven Computer Skills with the following applications:

    * MS- Word
    * MS- Excel
    * MS- PowerPoint
    * MS- Outlook
