Total Rewards Consultant APAC

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
1. Framework:  Support the design, development, implementation and the on-going management of the Global Total Rewards Framework (Compensation, Health and Wellness Benefits and Recognition).
2. Global Program Responsibility:  Manage Health and Wellness Benefits, Performance Management or Equity Compensation.
3. Process:   Ensure the on-going governance, documentation and compliance of Total Reward processes.
4. Consulting and Strategy:  Provide consultative approach to HR and business needs, listening actively to understand the root needs, considering a variety of possible solutions, and actively partnering to implement change.  Ensure alignment with overall strategy.
5. Communication: Work with manager, team and Internal Communications to develop and ensure all communication materials are appropriate for distribution.  Utilize intranet as core communication vehicle as much as possible.
Specific Job Knowledge

    * Excellent working knowledge of Total Rewards frameworks, processes, programs and technology support.
    * Excellent project management and time management skills, with the ability to meet tight deadlines.
    * Excellent working knowledge of regional employment, compensation and data privacy legislation.
    * Ability to work with employees at all levels of the organization, most specifically with senior management.
    * Ability to partner with external vendors regarding Request for Proposal (RFP) Process, Contract Negotiations, and on-going vendor management to support HR Systems needs.


    * Bachelor Degree or equivalent Business Experience.  Master’s Degree or Additional Technical Degree/ Certifications a plus.  SPHR, CCP, CEP a plus
    * 10+ years HR Experience with a minimum of 5 years in a Total Rewards function (Preferably Health and Wellness Benefits)

Job Requirements

    * Ability to communicate both orally and in person, and facilitate presentations in front of large groups
    * Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
    * English and Mandarin language skills are a must
    * Ability to travel domestically and internationally up to 25% of the time (New incumbents may travel more during the first year in position, up to 40%)
