Systems Administrator

This position will be involved in the architecture, implementation, and support of the infrastructure and platforms that as well as building and integrating all forms of Web, social, collaborative, mobile technologies into the enterprise. Web infrastructure, LAMP, Drupal, social business platforms, wikis, blogs, forums, activity streams, and enterprise search are all within the scope of this position. You will architect and create secure, scalable, globally delivered enterprise class platform architectures and implementations of consumer oriented web based applications.
You will be leveraging your skills as a web systems administrator, scripting, and knowledge of Web 2.0 technologies to implement and support services for a global corporate audience.
Responsibilities        You should have active experience using, and an interest in implementing in the Enterprise services like: Wikipedia, WordPress, Search, Twitter, FaceBook, YouTube, Google Reader, Flipboard, Instapaper, Quora and Flickr.
Strong HTML skills, and demonstrated experience creating web applications using PHP, Perl, Python, and JavaScript is highly desirable.
Skills/Experience        Must have a minimum of four years of experience implementing and supporting Web infrastructure technologies. Must have experience with Linux, Apache, MySQL, PHP, Perl, and other Open Source web technologies. Most critical is your understanding of and the ability to implement Web 2.0 technologies, and collaborative social software frameworks within a Fortune 500 company. Experience hosting these services in an ISP, SaaS context would be ideal. The more experience working with LAMP, MediaWiki, TWiki, Confluence Wiki, Drupal, Jive, and SharePoint the better.
Experience with SiteMinder SSO, Lucene, SOLR, MongoDB, or Hadoop would be beneficial.
Education Requirements        Required: Bachelor's, Computer Science or equivalent experience
