Opening for Marketing Operations Manager with UK B
The Marketing Operations Manager is responsible for leading the international marketing function in the successful execution of the strategic goals of the Direct B2C business unit, driving revenue and customer engagement through ecommerce, web publishing, email, social media, SEO and CRM. Reporting directly into the Senior Online Marketing Manager of Packt, this newly created role will be responsible for championing and implementing the strategy and business plans for the unit. You will provide line management responsibility for direct reports as well as controlling and directing the work of several teams in the Mumbai operations centre. In this role you will have budgetary and P&L responsibility for the business unit, and for managing supplier relationships, including the platform development and marketing operations. Successful candidates will have a proven track record of business and people management, be able to demonstrate strong stakeholder management, have a strong awareness of technology and online marketing techniques, and be ready to actively participate in strategic discussions at a senior level. Job Specific Skills Strong marketing management experience gained in a fast paced, B2C environment Extensive project management experience, able to oversee multiple projects and work to exacting deadlines Experience of change management and quality improvement, gained in a CR/SEO context Experience of working in CR, Technical Supports and SEO teams Quality management experience (e.g. ISO, Six Sigma) General Skills Excellent written and oral communication skills A strategic leader, able to identify and size opportunities Experience at GM level, managing managers A track record of developing talent at all levels Good problem solving skills Commercial awareness Results orientation Decision making and judgment Leadership and innovation Analysis and strategy skills, Excel Able to design and develop new processes Good negotiation skills Responsibilities Drive implementation of the marketing strategy for Packt via the Marketing Operations team in Mumbai (c40 people) Key strategic partner to the Senior Online Marketing Manager, responsible for ensuring the successful delivery of all strategic objectives and that all reporting requirements are met Responsible for leading change and improvement programs across the various marketing departments (Direct Marketing, Customer Relations, SEO). Ensuring a sound business case exists for each proposal. Delivery of direct revenue targets Maximizing revenue from new and existing customers in ways that encourage engagement and repeat business Building productive working relationships across the various functions within the Marketing team and other business units Reaching new customers and new territories Direct channel research and analysis Salary:INR 8,00,000 - 12,00,000 P.A.
