Quality Systems


    * Recommend and implement corporate global quality strategy.
    * Select and maintain best practice quality systems and processes in support of the global quality policy. Monitor technology trends such as emerging standards and new technology opportunities.
    * Oversee and implement the company quality system and quality manual.
    * Gain cross-business consensus, where possible, to establish new processes and implement effective change management.
    * Ensure that the quality management system is compliant with all applicable industry, local, national and international regulatory requirements and standards.
    * Continuously seek innovative ways to improve business productivity through the introduction of new quality system technologies, methods and controls.
    * Deploy good configuration management practice globally.
    * Select, implement, train users and manage corporate quality system tools.
    * Establish product and processes metrics that effectively measure and improve performance.
    * Manage needs for full-time or temporary resources based on work level demands and budgetary constraints.
    * Develop and effectively manage operating, staffing, and capital projects budgets.
    * Establish and achieve annual department operating objectives and plans.
    * Plan and execute staffing and compensation decisions.
    * Ensure that quality systems professionals are fully competent for their roles, that they are effectively organized to deliver high quality service to users, meet time commitments and receive appropriate training and mentoring.




    * 10+ years quality leadership experience with a demonstrated ability to lead and manage people and teams
    * Creative problem solving, flexibility, and good negotiation skills are a must
    * Proven ability to drive results to established timelines and on budget
    * Proven ability to communicate effectively both in writing and verbally with staff at all levels of the organization
    * Superior technical writing and presentation skills
    * Proficiency with Microsoft software applications
    * International travel will be required up to 35%
    * Must have experience working with OEM vendors
    * Must have experience managing remote business activities
    * Must be comfortable and effective acting as a catalyst for change
    * Strong interpersonal skills, excellent formal and informal communication skills, innovative problem solving skills and strong facilitation skills are required
    * Candidate must be performance and results oriented and be able to develop, motivate and lead strong, effective, teams


      Medical, Aerospace and/or Security domain experience is preferred
    * Leadership skills, more specifically in influencing and driving complex situations and projects to the desired outcome
    * Track record as a change agent in a mid to large size organization
    * Good understanding of multiple functions with the ability to be a bridge for problem solving between multiple functional areas
    * High degree of creativity and problem solving ability to adapt existing / customize new tools to suit business needs
    * Has the potential of taking a senior role in two years
    * Hard driver, high energy, positive attitude, works well under stress and with ambiguity
