Sales Manager


The Role/Duties

The ideal candidate will have responsibility for identifying and developing new opportunities in the Photo Detector, Laser and PCBA (printed circuit board assembly) as well as managing and supporting current customer relationships. The role requires a self motivated, sales driven individual and involves:

    * Flexibility to travel throughout the Western US
    * Relationship management with existing OEMs
    * Develop, manage and support sales activities in several industries
    * Identify new business opportunities for our technologies; quantify and prioritize work load.


The ideal candidate will possess the following:

    * Sales experience in the Optoelectronics Industry.
    * Excellent communication, organizational and presentation skills
    * Strong people skills, a “doer” and a team player
    * Demonstrable track record of individual sales development success in their current or most recent positions
    * Engineering or Technical background and the ability to appreciate the technical value proposition we offer
    * Extensive knowledge of the regional markets for:

-          Telecom

-          Industrial

-          Health care

-          Defense

-          OEM Manufacturing

-          Laser Manufacturing





Bachelor’s degree, Electrical Engineering or Physics preferred.
