Financial Analyst

1. Provide operational partnership/ support to US Clinical Teams by monitoring, coor-dinating and tracking spend on investigator, clinical trials that are monitored by US CD-US Clinical Operations for investigational US sites participating in global trails and local Phase IV trials in accordance with company policies
2. In collaboration with the Medical Franchise Clinical Teams, coordinate, track and generate payment requests for the above referenced clinical trials as per investigator Clinical Trail Agreement (CTA) Schedule A’s that are created within US TO&L using the Novartis CTMS system (ClinAdmin) or any other internal clinical data base data in accordance with company financial policies, standards and requirements. Ensures correct execution of those processes.
3. Business partner with Medical Franchises (MF) and Business Units (BU) Clinical teams, Director of Operations, PFMs, and others to Ensure that contractual terms in CTA Schedule A reflects the protocol design; and that the Schedule A is reflected correctly on a Novartis Purchase Order.
4. Generate, prepare, analyze and provide clinical investigators site wise spend status reports, assist in forecasting, compile payment data and maintains historical information relative to the tasks for both internal and external customers.
5. Acts as clinical team business partners to ensure investigator spend compliance and provides operational support for all payment-related issues and queries for all studies.
6. Acts as clinical team liaison concerning investigator contract spend with other groups within TO&L, RTP and other internal departments.
7. Advise and coordinate with MF, BU and contract groups to ensure adherence to Novartis accounting and audit policies.
8. Provide leadership and training new and junior members of TFO.
9. Provide accountable and transparent records for audit trail.
Minimum requirements    CA Inter/MBA or Master’s degree in Finance from reputed institute or an equivalent accounting qualification
• Two to Five years’ experience in finance in a leading multinational/corporation
• Experience of SAP and Oracle Lifecycle experience
Fluent English (oral and written)
