Streaming DevOps Engineer

We are looking for a development team lead for our Partner Portal development team within the Partner Tools group. The Partner tools team is building Cloud based automation and Customer Portal solutions for device certification.  The Portal is a CRM system that provides an on rails Certification experience for Netflix partners that includes project management, project tracking, issue tracking, documentation and numerous other features.  This is all managed via a rich Portal UI experience coupled with many of the key Netflix services.
As the team lead you will play a key engineering and architecture role in building the infrastructure and software required to support the company’s move to certification and testing operations within the Cloud.  You have working experience with developing a world class customer facing Portal / CRM based system. You feel you are well positioned to help play a key role in this project and look forward to expanding your skills working on a Cloud based solution that touches many key parts of the Netflix solution. This role offers the opportunity for team management responsibility.

You have these skills:
- 5+ years of professional experience with J2EE development
- 3+ years of development team lead experience.
- Working experience with a customer facing portal / CRM type solution
- Strong Java / J2EE skills with Groovy / Grails experience being a benefit.
- Good database skills with working knowledge of SQL.
- Experience with RESTful API based designs
You may even have these skills:
- Knowledge of cloud computing platforms, such as Amazon Web Services,
- Web development in general (HTML5/CSS/AJAX/JavaScript)
- Web Frameworks such as GWT, EXT JS etc.
- Continuous integration / build management tools
- A understanding of horizontal scaling / high availability
