enior Software Engineer in Test

cNetflix is taking its streaming experience global. We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer in Test to envision and implement test automation for content management system to manage digital assets. This solution is critical to the success of our service and company, as we become a global leader in streaming technology. A key part of this platform is to manage the various digital assets that we procure from our content partners and also to manage the creation of assets by our designers and all the metadata around these assets.

In this role you will:
- Own the quality of the product for the customer and make sure that the functionality being delivered effectively solves business problems.
- Develop test strategies, research and build test automation
- Own monitors used for tracking metrics
- Have a detailed understanding of the problem space and be the voice of the customer to guide the engineering team to roll out high quality product.
- Work closely with the developers to influence design and architecture
- Work with engineering teams of our external and internal partners for system integration

Qualifications:
- 5+ years of development or testing experience
- Great QA abilities: creativity, broad scope, assertiveness, passion
- Can work alongside developers testing code and giving direct feedback on code quality
- Ability to create and execute manual and automated test plans and test cases
- Experience developing and using test automation frameworks with Java, open source tools or scripting languages
- Experience developing tests for web applications and RESTful web APIs.
- Work with developers to influence system design and behavior for testability
- Experience working with system administrators to configure, troubleshoot, and deploy to development, QA, and production environments
- Proficient in SQL
- Experience in designing and executing load tests, analyzing data and presenting results
- A Bachelors or Masters in Computer Science or equivalent engineering
