Engineering Manager

As a member of the Cloud Solutions team, you will manage the cloud environment, supporting the company’s development and operations in the cloud. You are an expert in distributed, highly-concurrent, web-scale systems that are fault-tolerant and run 24x7 with unparalleled availability. You’ve built world-class monitoring systems that are scalable and easy to use. You’ve delighted your users by listening to their needs and delivering product innovations to address them.

You possess these qualities:
- You work effectively with other teams, understanding their needs and helping them adopt what you build
- You are an inspirational leader who excels at managing teams, development schedules, and end-users
- You are effective working with multiple teams and driving change initiatives
- You have high standards in everything you do

You have these skills:
- Great communication skills, both verbal and written
- A deep technical arsenal honed from years of development and software management
- Mastery of web systems architecture and distributed systems
- Strong development fundamentals, design patterns, and object-oriented programming

You may even have these skills:
- Prior experience with Amazon EC2/S3 or other cloud service providers is a plus
- Prior experience building large-scale distributed monitoring infrastructure and applications
- Systems deployment and service management automation tools and methodologies
