Sr Accountant (individual Contributor Role)

1. Maintenance of Books of Accounts a. Accounts Payable Vendor invoice processing and payment upon approval from Admin, TT payment for capex import, interbank transactions, vendor payment reconciliations etc. b. Accounts receivable cost plus invoicing, Preparation of export invoices (Inter Company), invoice posting, forex submission and follow up receipts, med-claim receipts etc. c. Employee expense reimbursements Employee reimbursement claim processing and payment d. General ledger reconciliation and journal postings e. Bank reconciliation statements and postings. f. Travelling expense settlement (Billable and non billable) g. Fixed Asset accounting and depreciation posting h. Preparation of projected cash flow statement. i. Statutory Payment - Employee provident fund, profession tax and labour welfare fund reconciliation & payments. 2. Direct and Indirect Tax compliance a) TDS Deduction and remittance, Monthly, Quarterly and Annual return for Vendors . b) Advance Tax Advance Tax computations and payment on quarterly basis 15th, June, Sept, Dec and Mar c) E-TDS e-TDS return preparation and filing on quarterly basis15th, July, Oct, Jan and April For vendors d) Form 16 preparation and issue of form 16 to all vendors for their deductions .Form 16 data reconciliation with NSDL record and internal record. e) Form FC-GPR & Form 3CEB Submitting form 3CEB to Income Tax India and form FC-GPR to Central Bank of India (RBI) on annual basis. f) IT Return filling Income tax return filling with income Tax India on annual basis g) ITO Assessment and appeal Handling Income Tax hearing and assessment and submitting required documents and clarifying assessing officer quires on timely manner. 3. MIS Reports a) Preparation of cash flow statements to advice corporate office on position of cash flows. It will include all transaction s happened during the period 1st to 31st every month. b) TDS deductions and remittance details to reconcile the vendor net payments. c) Petty Cash register, which includes accounting description wise payment details and it shows petty cash position. d) Journal Register to identify the contra entries, intercompany expenses, booking of assets, posting of loans and advances etc. e) BRS to establish the cash position and to identify the difference between book balance and bank balance. f) Asset Register It shows new additions and enables to arrive depreciation posting. 4. STPI Compliances and reports submission a) Softex return Softex return on quarterly basis basis15th, July, Oct, Jan and April With exports, imports, manpower, expense break-up b) Tentative Annual performance report TAPR reports submitting on annual basis before 15th Jan. c) Annual performance report APR submission on annual basis after audit with auditor certification on Capex, exports, imports details, category of imports, manpower utilised etc. d) STPI import approval - Import approval for Capital goods purchase to get 100 % duty exemption and re exports approval for returnable goods. e) Import Certificates - Procurement certificate, ARE-3, CT-3, Re-warehousing certificate for Imports as well as domestic. f) Bond Register inspection and updation. g) Bonding additional /new premises under STPI. h) Bonding and De-bonding of capital goods. i) Renewal of STPI License 5. Customs ,Central Excise and JDFT a) Central excise approval /NOC/Procurement certificate for imports and exports. b) CT-3 & ARE-3 for Domestic purchase c) Re-warehousing certificate, De-bonding certificate, Duty payment approval etc for imports and re-exports. d) Handling Customs and Central excise inspection for CG imports and Attending Personal hearing to clear duty free imports e) Addressing the queries and doubts related to imports to get NOC 6. Service Tax Return and Refund Claim a) Service tax Reg Service tax registration under central board of excise and customs b) Service tax return Service return filling on half yearly Oct 25th & April 25th c) Service Tax Refund Service Tax refund claimed up to date from CBEC from date of Date of registration. d) Service Tax refund compliance Assisting and co-ordinating our consultant to sort out the queries raised by CBEC officials. 7. Audit a) Statutory Audit. b) Tax Audit & preparation of schedules. c) Addressing Auditors quires, helping them for ledger scrutiny, assisting to finalize books. d) Transfer pricing documentations 8. Asset Management a) Maintaining asset register as per rules stipulated by STPI. b) Maintain separate register for Central Excise bond goods and non-bonded goods. c) All assets have been tagged with Service Tag, Bond no, date of import and EOU registration no. d) Monitoring Warranty and AMC for the assets. Ensuring all required assets under AMC. e) Asset insurance Updating the asset insurance records and covering all items under insurance. 9. Liaison with Banker and other Govt Authorities a) Export related compliances and documentation. b) FIRC conversion and follow-up for realization c) GR Waiver for returnable capital goods. d) RGTGS/NEFT/cheque clearance coordination. e) Term Deposit renewal, Bank guarantee and NOC for Central excise to cover B17 Bond. f) Additional and deletion office address with JDFT for imports and exports. g) Coordinate our freight agent to get NOC for temporary procurement of capital goods. h) Vendors Bank guarantees verification for payments. 10. Ad-hoc a) Purchase order preparation for purchase of capital goods and other required goods. b) Responsible for overseas FedEx shipment and inland couriers across the country. c) Ad-hoc 1. Purchase order preparation. 2. Amendment of purchase order. 3. Payment to vendors against BG. 4. Material follow up 5. Import approval, CT-3 Certificate, ARE-3, Procurement certificate and NOC from central excise etc. 6. Budget tracking and fund management. 7. Vendor invoice scrutiny and final payment. 8. Deduction and remittance TDS. 9. Retention tracking etc. 11) Leasing of Laptops & Desktops 1. Co-ordinating with Cargotec to relase PO to Lenovo & IBM 2. Co-ordination for Corporate guarantee approval for Leasing 3. Lease agreement approval and signing (IM & Lenevo) 4. NOC from Central excise and STPI. 5. Coordinating for clearance from Central excise and Customs 6.
