Solution Engineer


Assist in the selling process of NICE Systems solutions to prospects and current customers.

    * Support the sales team – responsibility for the technical aspects of the sales process
    * Lead in specifying the integration solutions
    * Ownership of and prompt responses to RFP/RFI documents
    * Responsible for Project Reviews, including:
          o Technical analysis of customer requirements
          o Technical negotiations with customers
          o Creating configurations / quotes for customers
          o Preparation and sign off of technical proposals for customers
    * Act as an integral team member working to achieve regional and team sales goals
    * Manage pending sales situations from a technical pre-sales perspective, working along with Sales Directors and Regional Sales Managers both in-house and on-site, providing all support for achieving success in sales
    * Participation in trade shows
    * Assisting in training channel partners
    * Approximately 30+% travel required
    * Other duties may be assigned


    * A BS or preferably a MS degree in a technical discipline and three years industry experience in telecommunications / call center technology


    * Knowledge in the following areas is critical: CTI, CRM, Voice recording, PBX/ACD, WEB/Internet, NT server/SQL server, Database knowledge, computer H/W & networking
    * Previous Pre-sales experience is a definite plus
    * Superior people skills
    * Exceptional presentation and demo capabilities
    * Strong verbal/written communication skills
    * Self motivated, highly organized and team-oriented
