Corporate Human Resources

Managing company-wide talent management programs such as high potential development and succession planning including identifying critical positions and potential successors with correlating development plans for all emerging leaders
 Supporting New Gold’s corporate office and operations to ensure we develop our employees all within our philosophy of “growing our own”
 Collaborate with New Gold’s operations in the research, development and implement of HR best practices including policy, processes, including internal communication
 Develop a strategic workforce plan, aligned with the business goals to address skill requirements and to ensure appropriate training and skills development programs are in place
 Manage the annual compensation and benefits reviews including benchmarking market data and trends to make the appropriate recommendations for the business
 Manage the performance review and development planning cycle including effective consultation with business units regarding delivery and evaluation
 Provide leadership with performance, career and talent development, recognition and communication
 Supervise the corporate office payroll and benefits (Canadian and US)
 Provide support to VP of HR with related human resources matters as required
 A minimum of 7 to10 years relevant human resources experience
 A Bachelor's Degree in a related discipline or a combination of education and experience
 Experience and background in effective organizational development
 Strong business acumen and understanding of business strategy and the ability to align HR practices to deliver success
 Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work well with a diverse group of people.
