Role Work within a team environment to ensure availability of WINTEL servers with significant business or IT impact, handling server OS installations, incidents, data analysis, security, performance, and standards compliance issues We are URGENTLY in need of 2nd LEVEL SUPPORT - WINTEL Scope of activities: 2nd level Operational Support for Windows Servers In-depth technical skill, especially in the areas of Microsoft Operations Manager, Microsoft Systems Centre and other Microsoft Windows Server system products Work within a team environment to ensure availability of WINTEL servers with significant business or IT impact, handling server OS installations, incidents, data analysis, security, performance, and standards compliance issues; Administer and maintain WINTEL server, OS for Production, Internet and Intranet services ; Troubleshooting performance issues, repairing system software and troubleshooting OS configuration and hardware failures; Supports new projects, OS installations, upgrades, patches and creation of documentation; Collaborate with engineering in developing new applications and integrating new technologies; Perform root cause analysis, troubleshooting and apply Security policies and document deviations; Perform, monitor and report on technology processes; Support the regional operating officer in various activities and escalations to ensure timely delivery/closure on business critical issues.
