Chief of Staff

The Strategic Enterprise Services IT (SESIT) organization is seeking a Chief of Staff in support of the, Vice President of SESIT.
We are looking for a senior level individual with proven track record and strong skills in multi-disciplinary project management, business operations, finance, communications and internal stakeholder management. Additional expertise in change management, business process optimization and organization design are key to helping this newly formed team, get off the ground and working efficiently. The Chief of Staff must be in “lock step” with the VP and help drive the organizational cadence as well as help design this new organization from the ground up. In addition, as a key member of the leadership team he/she will have an essential voice at the leadership table, while also being a resource to help support the broader strategic and operational needs of the team. This role calls for a balance of leadership and influence skills across the senior leaders within the team and beyond, in addition to supportive individual contributions. This role will interface with key influencers and decision-makers within the CIO Leadership team as well as the Office of the CIO and the extended Business Management community within IT and its business partners
The key responsibilities will be:
-Accountable for Rhythm of the Business (ROB) and business planning across the organization
-Drive business planning including quarterly business reviews (QBRs), midyear review (MYR) and annual planning. Partner with the IT Finance organization and the IT Management team to drive planning activities and IT business execution through the business prioritization, budget planning and fiscal management processes.
-Key partner with Human Resources through the analysis, planning, and execution of key initiatives
-Lead on behalf of VP of Shared Application Platform cross-organization strategies, tactics and special projects such as cross organization strategy research and definition.
-Develop and implement business processes for the organization, ensuring they are consistently adopted and followed.
-Develop and manage VP related Communications, and plan designed for internal constituents.
-Work effectively with COE Business Management team enabling successful delivery of rhythm of business and initiatives across the organization.
-Build and maintain relationships with peers inside and outside the organization and industry to ensure strong cross-group collaboration and connection with the CIO and organization
-Help to establish accountability across teams by making sure appropriate milestones and measurements are built into business and project plans
Position Requirements:
-Demonstrated excellent analytical, problem resolution and decision-making skills.
-Superior judgment, team building, budgeting, presentation skills, and the ability to work under continual deadline pressure required.
-Requires specialized knowledge in multiple business processes.
-Proven experience in effecting change, driving institutional change through effective cross group collaboration and group evangelization.
-Strong oral and written communication skills, and presentation-building.
-Adaptability, flexibility and the ability to deal with ambiguity associated with working in a fast paced and changing environment.
-Strong program and project management and negotiation skills while working within established business priorities and constraints.
-Demonstrated problem solving skills; the ability to deal with conflict and multiple constituencies and manage multiple simultaneous objectives is imperative.
-Demonstrated strategic planning and execution skills
-8+ years of business experience with project/program management experience.
