RDA Shift Equipment Technologist

Micron Fab10 - RDA Shift Equipment Technologist

Responsibilities:

  • Monitor tool performance, schedule, perform preventative maintenance and basic corrective maintenance on RDA tool sets
  • Use mechanical, electronic and PC/software skills to troubleshoot and repair equipment issues.
  • Participate in equipment installation and qualification activities
  • Setup and optimize inspection/review/auto-classifier recipes
  • Increase tool uptime through systematic problem solving and troubleshooting, quality workmanship
  • Document and review all maintenance performed in check sheets and tracking programs
  • Document all lesson learnt – maintenance and recipe application for internal and global sharing.
  • Monitor, analyze and address equipment SPC issues and respond to SPC out of control issues.
  • Shift Equipment Technicians are required to keep the Equipment Owner and/or Lead Engineer updated on tool issues.
Requirements:
  • Diploma in Engineering or a related field
  • Basic fundamentals of electricity, and basic electronic components and circuits is preferred
  • Basic understanding of mathematical concepts and problem solving skills
  • Basic PC skills including MS Office Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Proven ability to troubleshoot basic problems and address root causes
  • Solid time management and prioritization skills
  • Proven ability in multi-tasking complex projects
  • Basic data extraction, analysis and reporting skills
  • Proven ability to work effectively with minimal supervision
  • Ability to be flexible with job responsibilities and take the initiative to assume added responsibilities
  • Successfully demonstrated teamwork skills with a strong focus on effective team dynamics
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Basic understanding of semiconductor equipment and processes
  • Must be flexible to work any shift, rotate shifts and support OT as needed
  • Participate & contribute to TPM efforts
  • Basic knowledge of SPC is preferred
