RDA Equipment Engineer/Owner

Micron Fab10 - RDA Equipment Engineer/Owner


  • Responsible for planning, scheduling, and implementing new tool installations, relocations, and retrofits.
  • Own and develop equipment maintenance procedures and schedules
  • Develop POR and engineering inspection, review and auto-classifier recipes.
  • Work with the PEE/PIE process owners to develop, prioritize & manage projects to enable inline defect detection for yield improvement activities.
  • Interact with suppliers to improve tool availability and design continuous improvement projects to improve tool performance in hardware, software, and technologies.
  • Serve as the liaison between facilities, suppliers, contractors, and shift personnel.
  • Write and publish reports that summarize equipment improvements activities and cost reduction projects
  • Seek out opportunities on Cost, Yield, Quality & Output (CYQO) and disseminate acquired knowledge within Micron enterprise.
  • Manage device transfer, including populating PRD/TRD for transfer meetings.
  • Involve in process analysis and troubleshooting
  • Work with IE to review and optimize RDA bucket report to determine total tool count and need date.
  • Coordinate with Purchasing on review and populating of ADCS doc2 and tool need date.
  • Lead TPM focus team for respective equipment group.
  • Engineering degree or equivalent experience is preferred.
  • At least one year of semiconductor experience is required.
  • Knowledge and understanding of SPC and its applications in the area and knowledge of semiconductor equipment and processes.
  • Experience with the specific area equipment and processes.
  • Knowledge of Fab processes and a basic understanding of probe functions.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, good PC skills, and strong data collection skills.
  • Demonstrate proactive problem solving, communicate openly, and take responsibility.
  • Demonstrate good team work skills, multi-tasking capabilities and being self-motivated.
  • Demonstrate the ability to troubleshoot problems to address root causes.
  • Show a strong focus on effective team dynamics.
