Human Resources Consultant
Description
The HR Consultant is a key role within Manpower to help assist the Strategic HR Consultant transform the Manpower culture. This role coaches Branch Managers and Staffing Specialists on talent and its impact on business results. Additionally, this role will have a special concentration on improving the new employee experience (retention and engagement) with focus on orientation, onboarding, career pathing, and engagement of new employees. This role is key in driving great hiring decisions at the Branch Managers and Staffing Specialist level.
The HR Consultant is also responsible for supporting Branch Manager and Staffing Specialist talent. Although not responsible for specialist programs/process, the HR Consultant provides assistance to Branch Managers and Staffing Specialists on HR issues that impact the division (e.g., state laws, compensation, benefits, and training).
Overall, the HR Consultant is a part of the HR team designed to support the division and support the talent strategy.
Qualifications
• Beginning knowledge of talent management philosophy including employee appraisals, succession planning, and development
• Beginning knowledge of state and federal regulations related to human resources, specifically compensation, FLSA determinations, and required records
• Beginning knowledge of consulting models, change management, culture work
