Vertical Head - Operational Excellence

As a strategic Partner of the Operational Excellence Team, will be responsible for providing leadership to OPEX team across L&T businesses. To be a Business Expert in specific verticals of L&T. To support & engage top management of businesses within L&T. Primary: Will be responsible to provide leadership, conceptual solutions, develop models for the Operational Excellence team. Engage with Top management & help develop competitive operational strategy for the business Influence top management thinking and decision making towards realising OPEX & business goals Mentor managers & team members Drive the OPEX practise to achieve high degree of maturity and capability Develop models, solutions and best practices for specific industries / vertical in operational excellence Secondary: Assess and monitor the engagements of OPEX team at client sites from initiation to delivery to ensure service quality, client satisfaction and benefits Champion change efforts and model behaviors associated with continuous improvement. Recommend changes to policies and / or establish procedures to improve operations To develop business for OPEX team to increase their footprint across L&T landscape To attend critical review meetings within businesses and influence actions / decisions towards achieving operational excellence Behavioral Competencies Required: Demonstrated leadership, management, practise building, and mentoring/coaching skills. Ability to develop individuals to their optimal potential. Strong communication skills and interpersonal relations. Ability to influence & work with the top management.
