Zonal Marketing Manager

MAIN ACTIVITIES / RESPONSIBILITIES Segmentation Mapping of the markets & profiling of customers in the Zone Understanding their needs/Need Analysis Develop and implement customer segmentation Develop offers for various customer segments including implementing of pricing module Develop the annual BU marketing plan Product Development Helping the product development team with inputs based on customer needs and innovation Build the product marketing plan, create communication & ensure implementation Build tools to support the sales team by taking the learning from customer sites and creating sales pitch, training material, etc. Propose product development and research projects Prices & Extras Implement the price control system Apply the pricing policy based on the customer segmentation Challenge the operations team on their price increase levels Implement pricing method Implement and push for the Extras Services Develop and market services Identifying & building a network of applicators Have regular feedback mechanism with customers Image, Commercial Communication, and Branding Create and maintain awareness of the Lafarge brand in the RMX industry and amongst the customers Develop commercial communication supports such as publication, advertising, video, events, tradeshows, websites, etc in collaboration with the Communications team Animate the VAP specialist network Manage & build all the brands in the zone Help Operations in Managing the Lafarge brand with use of truck, plant signages, etc Manage the lobby and public relations Arrange customer meets ( architects/consultants) Develop an expert panel to Promote VAPs Sales Force Implement at the area level the sales AGAP process (Action, Goals, Action Plan) Develop and implement tools to improve the efficiency of sales force Develop method for sales force management Organise sales force training & their assessment Identify and implement initiatives for sales force motivation including incentive systems, contests, etc Organise sales force convention Market intelligence Implement market share tracking system Implement a project tracking tool Organize competition watch Monitor global price increases through a tracking system MIS reporting to the Marketing Manager on the market share, volumes and market intelligence Customer Satisfaction Undertake regular Customer Survey Organise and leverage surveys and help operations improve CSI Coach VAP specialist and sales teams Prepare support documents for VAP Specialist and Sales team based on the learning from the sites Undertake joint visits to coach VAP specialists and provide guidance and assistance to the VAP specialist in complicated cases. Benchmark market area performances on parameters including volume, margins, penetration, etc. Desired Profile Excellent Leadership skills. Customer oriented approach.
