HR Officer / Senior HR Officer

Job Description: Responsibilities: JOB SUMMARY Responsible for coordination and administration of specific Direct and Indirect Labor internal and external trainings courses. Responsible for Exempt and Non-Exempt (inclusive of DL) staff hiring. Responsible to administer and manage all activities relating to employee/industrial relations and to ensure a healthy work environment for all employees. PREREQUISITES Diploma/Degree with at least 3 years experience in generalist HR functions JOB DESCRIPTION Responsible for plant wide Direct/Indirect Labor (DL/IL) manpower planning - to work closely with manufacturing department on their recruitment needs. Co-ordinate and conduct interviews for Exempt and Non-Exempt level staff hiring. Manage labor contractors in supplying direct labor. Liaise with media advertisers e.g. newspaper, online etc. Liaise with external sourcing agencies or headhunters when necessary. Conduct on-boarding Orientation Source, coordinate and schedule training programs either in-house or external. To be responsible for ensuring that all necessary government related approvals are obtained and complied with and also any immigration matters pertaining to work permits and visa applications. To maintain a participative and open door environment in order to ensure that employee grievances/complaints and recommendations are heard. To champion effective communication programs and employee relation activities and to provide a reliable and effective link between the management and the employees. To provide compensation and benefits interpretation and consulting services to all employees. Responsible for the maintenance of complete and updated personal records and administration of company practices relating to performance review, salary administration, promotions, resignations or changes in employee status for all staff. To administer employee benefits like company insurances, outpatient services provided by company panel doctors, etc. To manage the outsourcing partner(s) to ensure the smooth running of matters pertaining to payroll for all employees. Other tasks as assigned by the HR Manager from time to time. Requirements: PC literate with good working knowledge of Microsoft softwares or Window applications e.g. Word, Excel, Powerpoint. Proficient in both spoken and written English and Chinese to liaise with Oriental speaking associates. Possess pleasant personality and able to interact well with all levels of employees.
