Senior Sales Engineer

positioning NPS solutions from a technical and business level. The selected candidate will be responsible for establishing credibility and trust with prospects and clients in India by demonstrating and proving our solution value and innovative leadership. We are a software product and solution driven business unit in Intel, where carrier experience, an excellent business sense and a strong technical aptitude are critical. We are looking for an energetic and pro-active individual, with a never-say-die spirit and an obsession with customer satisfaction. Key responsibilities will include but not be limited to the following: Act as the lead technical and business domain contributor to the sale of Intel NPS solutions into the assigned customer accounts Develop and maintain professional relationships with key technical and business stakeholders within the assigned customer accounts Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the use cases relevant with existing customers, prospects and partners and value potential. Articulate value propositions, and present a positive business and technical case to prospective customers for the purchase of NPS solutions demonstrating deep domain knowledge and understanding of the business drivers associated with each solution Provide technical support to the sales team to define the capability, applicability and future evolution of the NPS product set. Conduct technical & solution presentations to customers in conjunction with sales executives incorporating both product solutions and professional services. Leading the response to RFIs, RFPs and RFQs, including co-ordinating the input of other key staff where required Responsible for development and delivery of product demonstrations. Plan and drive Proof of Concepts. Responsible for representing the product to customers and at field events such as conferences, seminars, etc. Drive the overall solution design with customers including the functional specification of these solutions and associated customisations. Differentiate our offer to best satisfies customer needs in terms of quality, price and delivery Desired Profile A relevant degree in Computer Science, Engineering or other related subject. At least 8 years experience in a similar customer-facing role providing technical support and advice to a sales function. Proven experience in presentation of value propositions and working with clients in creating solutions, use cases and technical differentiation Domain knowledge of Service Provider network, OSS and BSS architecture. Ability to think creatively and to translate product capabilities in solutions to address customer requirements Proven track record in telecommunications network infrastructure - fixed line and mobile. Background in distributed computing and API relevant technologies, e.g. SOA, WSDL, REST, OAuth, Strong technology background and organisational skills Strong customer facing and presentation skills. Outstanding verbal and written communication skills. The ability to travel as necessary Excellent English business language skills (written and spoken) Desirable Domain knowledge of Service Delivery Platforms SDP, Telecom Web Services and related technologies. Background with Cloud based solutions and or APIs Background of API driven use cases and Mobile applications A past role in a software development capacity, including detailed understanding of Web Services technology. Understanding of payments & billing techniques Experience 8 - 10 Years Industry Type IT-Software / Software Services Role Sales Executive/Officer
