Opening for Transition Specialist in IQ Backoffice

IQ BackOffice, a leading financial and accounting BPO headquartered in US is now looking for Transition Specialist. The job details of which is given below: Designation : Transition Specialist Experience : 3-8 yrs Job location : Open Purpose of the job: Provides primary support for the Transition Group in leading, coordinating and supporting new and existing client transitions for the addition of new services (migrating, improving and optimizing the business process into our environment). Essential functions and responsibilities: Assists in the creation and supports managing a master project plan including project schedule, communication plan, change control plan, risk management plan, responsibility matrix and document requests. Responsible for entering and updating the project tasks, hours, resources into the project plan and ensuring that the project planning is completed on each project. Responsible for the maintenance of project related documentation and the handling of internal and external correspondence coordination/distribution and follow-up. Assists in the preparation of weekly status reports and distribution and coordinating the scheduling of project related meetings. Coordinate and assist in facilitating and moderating project meetings and compile/prepare minutes from those meetings. Responsible for reviewing team requests and responding accordingly. Responsible for gathering information from the client to understand business processes that IQB will be performing which can include on-site or off-site (via glance/webex) process shadowing Responsible for and/or assisting with the preparation of Business Rules, Processing Guides, Training Materials and assisting in determining a more efficient, standardized workflow solution. Responsible for and/or assisting in the training of the off shore and client teams. Creates and maintains a project issue log to track all issues and ensure their timely resolution. Responsible for project communication specific to client stakeholders, project team members, external resources and senior management. Completes other duties as assigned for both transitional and operational related projects. Knowledge and Skills: This position requires 1 to 3 years of prior experience with working on multi-phase projects. Knowledge/expertise in leading similar operations (preferably business operations) in a production/transactional environment (financial, accounting, manufacturing, etc). Experience with accounting, manufacturing/distribution, hospitality (restaurant/hotel), and property management operations a plus. This position requires strong communication, planning, organization, analysis, facilitation, conflict resolution, decision making, problem solving, and basic project management skills. Desired Profile Must be a self starter. Must have the ability to communicate verbally and in writing with personnel at various levels. PC applications proficiency (Word, Excel, MS Project, Access, PowerPoint). Planning and analysis skills. Ability to handle multiple tasks in an organized manner. Ability to coordinate simultaneous projects with multiple-level tasks and functions independently. Ability to quickly grasp clients business and organization in order to effectively interact with their employees, particularly senior management and others in purchasing, receiving, human resources and accounting. The ability to master the use of client systems (particularly accounting/ERP systems such as Oracle, SAP, Great Plains, etc Familiar with the fields concepts, practices, and procedures. Experience with workflow routing/process software/concepts. Experience with Manufacturing/Distribution, Hospitality (restaurant/hotel), Property Management industries and accounting/financial professional services. Travel Requirements : Travel may be required for initial kick-off and process shadowing/follow-up meetings.
