Regional Delivery Lead - Messaging

Primary Responsibility of resource would be, Review customer feedback and own and execute follow-up actions. Demonstrate strong customer service attitude and perform tasks that lead to satisfied customers Instil TCE standards within team and live by them Leads service delivery improvements aimed at improving TCE Principal contact for operational and tactical issues representing delivery of services to the customer for the represented tower/SDU. Attend customer meetings as required i.e. CAB, operational review meetings (Note the DL role is not, by nature, a Customer facing role and time spent in Customer meetings should be kept to a minimum any unreasonable demands on the DL time should be escalated to the ASDM / SM) Plan for New Implementation and Migration Activity related to AD, Exchange and LYNC environment. Lead the teams in all phases of production implementations - Configuration and Management of Application/OS Cluster server setup for messaging environment - Configuration, maintenance and troubleshooting related to CCR, LCR , SCR and DAG , Good concept of DAG. - Should have in depth knowledge in mail routing - Migration/upgrade of earlier Server version to latest version. - Working on S1 & S2 calls and handle technical escalations across country for supported projects/accounts. - Configuration and management of Antivirus and Ant spam solutions like Symantec, McAfee, Iron Port, Fortigate. - In depth knowledge on Windows 2003/2008 - Developing scripts related to mail management - Complete Knowledge of Pool Configuration. - Front End and Back End configuration and understanding. - Addressing L3 Escalation Client issue (Outlook, OWA, POP3, RPC over HTTP etc) - Addressing L3 Escalation Client issue (Outlook, OWA, POP3, RPC over HTTP etc.,). - Addressing L3 escalation on Active Directory , DNS and DHCP, OCS , LYNC and Exchange Services - Implement change records as required (ITSM Process). - Review Monthly Report. Provide solution for abnormal system performance reported in Monthly Report. - Perform Exchange Server/Environment tuning activities where appropriate. Make recommendations to improve health of the system where necessary. - Ensure that all documentation for the systems (AD,DNS, DHCP,Messaging Architecture, Mail Flow diagrams) is updated after changes. - Provide on-call support as scheduled (Shared Delivery). Desired Profile Good understanding of Exchange 2007 / 2010. - Good Understanding of Communication LCS / OCS / LYNC - Implemented or managed OCS 2007/2007 R2 or LYNC in enterprise environments with features like instant messaging, federation, Audio/Video conferencing, group Chat, Achieving, External User Access, Remote call Control and web conferencing Good understanding of Active Directory (about Forest/Domain Architecture, Replication, Disasters recovery). - Good understanding of ISA - Good understanding of Exchange Components:- (Exchange Database, Outlook Web Access, Offline Address List, Mail Flow, Public Folders, Free/Busy) Good Understanding of Exchange Architecture Services that run on Exchange 2007 / 2010 Server Roles Edge, Hub, CAS & Mailbox. - Ability to Design, Plan, Implementation of all OCS/LYNC features - Experience on OCS Edge server deployment and Configuration - Configuration of Audio / Video, Dial-in and web Conferencing - Knowledge of configuring Mediation Server, Director, Access Edge Server, Archiving Server, web conferencing Server, Group Chat and Monitoring server. - Knowledge about integrating OCS/LYNC with Unified communication services and exchange 2007/2010. - Knowledge on Enterprise Voice Configuration and deployment - Knowledge on LYNC Virtualization - Knowledge of basic SQL Queries. - Experience of OCS 2007 migration. - Experience on OCS/LYNC High Availability solutions, metropolitan site resiliency solution - Knowledge of products like CISCO call Manager - Knowledge of Video conferencing equipments. - Health checkup and monitoring of OCS. - Network load balancing for OCS using HLB and DNS. - Audio/Video session bandwidth management/Call Admission Control(CAC) - Troubleshooting the OCS connectivity failures/certificate errors/Outlook integration errors - Experience configuring and working with Microsoft Internet Information Server (IIS) and SQL Server 2005 is required. - Complete knowledge on Office Communicator and Live Meeting client configuration. - Experience with server installation, performance tuning is required. - Good understanding about one Backup Application and the various methods about backing and restoring Exchange Database and configurations. - Good understanding on Exchange Gateway product like Bright mail, IMSS etc - Good understanding about MS Cluster on Exchange 2003 - Good understanding about and Hands on experience with regard to High Availability Features (CCR, SCC, SCR & LCR). - Extensively worked on Windows core infrastructure services like Active Directory, DNS/DDNS/WINS and DHCP services - Working Knowledge of RAS/VPN, Web Servers, Clusters, and backup/restore - Good Knowledge of Server Hardware/RAID, SAN, Backup Applications. - Good understanding Exchange Tools that will help in Troubleshooting, Monitoring and fine tuning of Exchange - Exchange Best Practice Analyzer Report - Exchange Performance Troubleshooter Analyzer - MPS Report - -Minimum 9 + years of experience working in AD , DNS , Messaging and OCS /LYC Environment (Demonstrated experience in maintaining and supporting Exchange at the server level in an enterprise environment.) implementing and maintaining complex solutions. -Demonstrated experience in ITIL best practices methodologies Experience 9 - 12 Years Industry Type IT-Software / Software Services Role Project Lead
