Bus Development Consultant III

The alliance manager will be responsible for the complete alliance business They have to ensure the legality of the alliance by seeing to it that all legal conditions are met and all the proper registration are done. He would be required to present reports about the performance of the alliance and submit to the management of both the parties. Must be able to drive senior management meetings between the organizations. Alliance will be responsible to lead both the organization engagement in large multi location business deals/ projects. Must review the alliance after small intervals and make suggestions to improve performance. Must ensure that all TS channel programs are deeply understood by alliance partner teams and monitor execution for success. Must be capable of presenting complete business plans going in to the details of business viability of projects/ opportunities. Reporting into the Country Channel Head TS the Alliance Manager plays a vital role in helping in bring two organization to work together for achieving the goal set by HP TS. The manager has to coordinate with all the departments/ division that are concerned with the services business, even the departments of the other party. The alliance managers have to ensure that the alliance is productive and is creating business. He will be responsible for all the planning and implementation. If the alliance is not working, they have to make sure tight steps are taken to make the Alliance work, involving the senior most management of both the organizations. The alliance manager has to look at each and every aspect of the alliance, including the legality. They have to ensure all the paperwork is in order. The details have to be hashed out by both the sides, and the respective managers have to be present for these meetings. Must be responsible for proper governance of clearly laid out business plans jointly accepted by HP and partner. The alliance manager has to be quite versatile and should have flare for Marketing, training, building relations with various departments. He/she leads in bringing productivity & progress in the way we deliver channel push campaigns & incentive programs. Critical role in motivating partners in achieving targets Familiarity with the Alliance environment is a must to succeed in this role. Understanding of the commercial customers buying process is an added advantage.. Past experience in Alliance Management is also appreciated. This is one role where the understanding of service industry is of definite advantage. Should be Comfortable at communication with senior Executive level contacts with internal/external & country/regional teams. Able to relate to & provide critical inputs relating to Alliance partner engagement/requirement. Should have excellent communicating skills Can relate to situation and react accordingly Desired Profile A minimum of 8 to 10 years sales / Alliance experience ideally in an IT related environment for a vendor, coupled with regional exposure. Ideally, some years of channel /Alliance experience will be ideal. Preferably should be MBA Experience 8 - 10 Years Industry Type IT-Software / Software Services Role Sales/Business Development Manager
