Harman India Pune Site Lead,/ Engineering Head

Essential Responsibilities: Plan, direct and control the Pune engineering center activities of the Harman India R&D centre to ensure that operations achieve quality, cost and delivery targets. Focus will be on driving competency groups across different Infotainment domains focused on Media; Systems; Network; HMI; Telematics and customer programs Ensure that the documentation required for running the engineering activities are fulfilled. Be a core member of the CMMi process initiatives Proactively identify and feed into the respective stakeholder any issues that need attention from the business. Lead the team in continuously improving the current Services that are being delivered from the India R&D centre Accountable to deliver the agreed Business Case. Work closely with the BU Head for technical enablement of the business Be part of the Harman India leadership team and take collective responsibility for company performance, supporting colleagues and contributing to decisions on overall Business and People issues. Provide strong leadership which role models Harman values and demonstrates cultural awareness, and maintain high personal visibility in Harman India and the other part of the business that we work with. Develop talent within the India R&D centre to become part of the global talent pool.
