Our global client is seeking a contract Recruiter for a long term project at its Pittsburgh, PA facility.  The successful candidate will manage the selection process and make recommendations on improvements to lead to a more efficient selection decision and sourcing for up to 30 non-exempt positions.


Daily responsibilities include but are not limited to:

    * Ensure compliance to region and country specific legal implications from recruiting activities (ex. EEO compliance – development of outreach activity strategy)
    * Counsel managers on all aspects of the recruiting process, including a compliant use of the applicant tracking system
    * Consult with hiring managers to ensure accuracy of job postings and to gather competencies and requirements
    * Develop and implement position specific sourcing strategies
    * Use various sourcing strategies, such as college/university recruiting, internet job boards, cold calling, networking, resume mining, search firms, social networking and job fairs to attract a diverse pipeline of candidates
    * Develop, recommend, and execute strategies, including diversity, to ensure an inclusive applicant pool
    * Utilize corporate applicant tracking system in a compliant manner to manage the recruitment process, ensuring a high level of integrity into the system
    * Perform behavioral, competency and skill-based interviews (in person, over the phone, through the web) to assess candidate qualifications against agreed upon position requirements and competencies
    * Counsel managers through selection process
    * Recommend candidates to hiring manager based on requirements of position and competencies
    * Provide manager with reasoning for advancing candidates
    * Counsel the selection team throughout process
    * Oversee background checks and ensures candidates meet client requirements
    * Consult and counsel manager on final selection decision and negotiations
    * Analyze, prepare and justify initial offer outlining terms and package, which include base, short and long term incentive, and other perquisites
    * Extend, negotiate and close candidate acceptance
    * Influence negotiations between candidate and manager
    * Manage and document any exceptions to the compensation process
    * Ensure candidates/employees have a positive experience throughout the recruiting lifecycle
    * Manage communication process between candidate, HR, and hiring teams
    * Sell the client employment experience
    * Maintain relationships with candidates for future open positions


Must hold a Green Card or be a US Citizen.  Please no Corp to Corp or 3rd party vendors.  W-2 only due to client contract restrictions.
