Job Summary Reporting to the Programme Director and PMO Manager, the PMO Coordinator will coordinate a small but focussed Programme Office to meet the needs of the Programme and its key stakeholders – ensuring appropriate levels of governance and controls are implemented and maintained Responsibilities Manage a high level cross Workstream Programme Plan Manage Programme Risk & Issues Logs Monitor Programme Milestones Manage list of Programme Dependencies With Finance team, maintain financial processes to monitor and manage CAPEX and OPEX spend vs. forecast across all Workstreams Schedule and organise monthly Programme Steering Board Schedule and organise regular and/or ad-hoc meetings to support requirements of the Programme Work with Workstream Leaders and stakeholders to ensure meetings scheduled in the approved Governance model are adhered to Produce weekly Programme Status Report Organise and plan ad hoc Programme Workshops Manage Programme Sharepoint Site Manage regular and ad-hoc internal Programme Communications process Provide day-to-day administrative support for Programme activities in one or more of the following: change control, quality management, RAID management, project communications and reporting You will be able to use Project management tools and techniques within the context of good practice project management e.g. planning, tracking and correcting programme performance. You will also understand how to obtain and ensure quality results. This will include accurately assessing internal/external Project risks, developing contingency/mitigation plans and where appropriate, challenging accepted practices which may inhibit the quality and timeliness of programme deliverables Assess the impact and implications of decisions on other parts of the organisation including people, process and technology and determine the effects of your own and others’ work within this broad context. Understand and implement programme plans, monitor progress against them and identify any deviation. Workload can regularly be demanding and the role requires the individual to perform in a high pressure environment whilst working on specific initiatives with tight deadlines. Previous experience of playing a key role in a Programme Office or Project Admin/Coordination function Previous Experience within the telecoms / media Industry is required. Previous experience of managing a range of projects in an operational environment. Working knowledge and previous experience of PRINCE 2, Agile or other Project Management methodologies Intermediate+ MS office skills – MS PowerPoint, MS Excel, MS Visio Good communicator able to influence people to deliver within a matrix management structure Excellent planning and organisation skills Skills & Experience Position: PMO Coordinator Contract duration: 3 Months Start date: ASAP Pay rate: Max - £225pd per day
