Electronics Design
Electrical Engineer for Test and Integration of Controls systems both on the bench and at systems level. Must have extensive experience working on a cross functional team to develop requirements, design, implement and validate the operation of components, assemblies, subsystems and systems. The selected individual shall work closely with a team of design engineers to develop design validation for a large cross section of complex controls system needed to support the evolution of the technologies used to create EUV light. Challenges include validating safety systems, critical timing functions for skew and jitter. This individual must have
· Technical team member developing, executing, and assisting with data analysis for DV tests.
· Assist with troubleshooting and root cause analysis at both a module and system level.
· Under limited supervision, provide technical test support to the controls engineering group.
· Read and write and execute test plans. Read and edit electrical drawings with the design engineers.
· Help with the planning of test activities, resources, materials and equipment.
· Collect and Analyze raw data. Provide technical analysis of data collected.
· Creates engineering change orders, commissions and reviews other engineers designs, develops documentation, helps with the development of DV plans and evaluates prototype modules.
· Basic assembly / repair capabilities of soldering
· Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
· Ability to translate, statistically analyze data, and effectively report problems through written and/or graphical formats.
· Good customer service skills, with an advanced understanding of customer relationship building.
· Ability to use MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and electronic e-mail systems.
· Extensive experience working hands on in a test environment with analog, and digital signals. Fiber optics is also helpful.
· Experienced contributing working with technical groups to enable them to find solutions to roadblocks.
· Demonstrated high level of accountability, responsibility, and technical competence.
· Must be task focused and have a results oriented attitude and approach to the job responsibilities.
· Experience using structured problem solving to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
Strong competence with the various tools, procedures, programming languages used to accomplish the job. Minimum of five (5) years of experience is required.
· Requires a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering.
· Proficient in the use of a wide variety of test equipment to collect and proces data.
