Manager, Strategic Planning and Programmes

Job Description

Manager is responsible for planning and managing day-to-day operations of programmes to promote active living among seniors. This role is to provide effective implementation and delivery of various programmes to achieve C3A’s vision of “fostering a society where seniors live full, active and meaningful lives”.  Key tasks include but not limited to the following:

  • Operationalise new initiatives and oversee programme development and execution
  • Manage day-to-day operations and resolve arising issues to ensure high quality programme delivery
  • Be accountable for meeting targeted deliverables at agreed timeframe
  • Engage and build positive relationships with programmes’ partners to deliver results as agreed
  • Lead a team on programme implementation by guiding and developing team members’ capabilities
  • Encourage collaborative working environment by being able to work and share information across teams
  • Minimum Diploma (with 5-7 years’ relevant experience) or Bachelor’s degree (B.A.  with at least 4-5 years’ related experience) in Social Science, Business Management or its equivalent
  • 3 years experience in managing programmes and team members either private or public sectors are essential
  • Willingness to learn new things with ability to propose practical solutions are critical
  • Proficient in English presentation skills; good writing skills and able to present to Mandarin-speaking associates are advantageous
  • Ideal candidate must have positive perception towards active ageing, strong problem solving and interpersonal skills, leadership quality with ability to think clearly in logical manner, good attention to details and be able to manage multiple tasks under pressure with “can-do” attitude
  • Candidate with less experiences can be considered as Assistant Manager
