Customer Service Coordinator

For almost three decades, Corning Environmental Technologies has developed creative, highly effective emission control solutions for mobile and stationary sources around the world. We joined the campaign for cleaner air in the early 1970s, when we developed high-performance, cost-effective cellular ceramic substrates for use in catalytic converters. Our invention has become the industry standard for more than 95% of today’s catalytic catalytic-converter equipped vehicles. Today, we hold more than 200 patents on emission-control products and processes used in gasoline, diesel and alternative-fuel vehicles, as well as stationary applications.



 Scope of Position:

    * Key member of CET North America Customer Service Team
    * Primary liaison between customer and manufacturing for assigned accounts

 Day to Day Responsibilities:

    * Coordinate order management process for assigned accounts including order entry, customer correspondence, transportation coordination, and payment resolution as needed

    * Develop and maintain customer relationships both internal and external


    * Work across commercial and manufacturing including planning and shipping to ensure customer requirements are achieved


    * Identify and act on supply issues so as to minimize the impact to the customer


    * Monitor and communicate key customer service metrics

    * Effective problem solver and detail oriented


    * Excellent verbal and written communication skills


    * Ability to stay calm in the face of adversity


    * Previous experience with Peoplesoft Supply Chain or a comparable system
