Sales Account Manager

Job Description

    We have an outstanding career opportunity for a successful Sales Account Manager based in Sacramento, California and covering the State of California.  This is an excellent opportunity for an aggressive, high-energy, software sales professional who will identify and bring to closure data management software engagements for this fast paced and rapidly growing organization.

    The Sales Account Manager has overall responsibility for SLED sales, third party alliances, and customer satisfaction. This person will develop and implement a comprehensive strategy that maximizes CommVault’s opportunities across all product solutions.

    Position Responsibilities include:                                          

        * Responsible for a quota of typically $1.4- 2.1M
        * Demonstrates sustained record of sales achievement
        * Influences customers and defuses potential problems
        * Anticipates customer needs and identifies appropriate alternatives and solutions
        * Utilizes an Integrated Sales Cycle

     Position Requirements include:

        * Bachelor's degree or applicable work experience
        * A proven track record of significant over-quota achievement and demonstrated career stability
        * Experience in State, Local, Education, and Medical Sales
        * Experience in closing six-figure software deals
        * Minimum of 5+ years related software selling experience (ex; Storage Management, ERP, CRM, document management, eBusiness and/or eCommerce applications)
        * Excellent presentation skills to executives & individual contributors
        * Excellent written and verbal communication skills
        * Understanding of the State, Local, and Education markets
