Technical Account Manager
We have an outstanding career opportunity for a successful Technical Account Manager in the Minneapolis, MN area. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Account Manager with an understanding of trouble shooting technical problems, managing customer expectations, and helping the customer modernize their legacy data management solutions. The ideal candidate will bring technical experience, customer interaction and outside the box thinking in this fast paced and rapidly growing organization.
Position Responsibilities include:
* Owing and Technically Supporting 3-6 Enterprise customers.
* Overseeing strategic customer problem escalations and documenting the resolution.
* Work to align CommVault best practices with customer’s business needs.
* Quarterly Customer Technical Business Reviews
* Ability to travel (locally) 40% of the time.
* Ability to manage multiple issues in a timely manner
* Ability to work with CommVault sales team to identify customer’s strategic technology needs.
Position Requirements include:
* Minimum of 5 years IT (vendor or customer) experience; minimum of 18 months working with Simpana.
* Advanced administration and troubleshooting of Windows and Unix server environments.
* Troubleshooting, administration, and configuration of IP networks.
* Administrator level experience with CommVault products.
* Previous experience with other backup software
* Knowledge and experience with Storage Area Networks and NAS devices.
* Experience and understanding of data management & information life cycle management.
* Previous administration experience of enterprise class applications.
* Troubleshooting and configuration of SCSI, iSCSI and FC devices.
* Project management/coordination skills would be beneficial
