Business System Manager

Primary Responsibilities 

  • Gather the requirement with the business users
  • Prepare System Requirements Specification (SRS)
  • Discuss overall system design with System Support
  • Prepare high level System Design Specifications (SDS) per SRS
  • Ensure version control and change management procedures are followed
  • Adhere to DFI PMBOK documentation requirements
  • Discuss with Systems Support on the conduct of UAT
  • Assist Systems Support in User Training
  • Prepare Sign-off documentation (and User Manual where required)
  • Prepare program migration and handover to Systems Support
  • Provide needed application support during Pilot run or post Go-Live
  • Co-ordinate audit for IT systems with auditor and internal
Additional Responsibilities
  • Troubleshooting of Application System related issues
  • Perform Feasibility and Analysis of new user requirements and convert them into functional specifications
  • Development of Local Customisation/Enhancement
    • Documentation of Program Specification
    • Schedule and conduct User Acceptance Test
    • Assist User in Testing and acceptance
  • Responsible for the Change Request assigned and Testing
  • Report Incident Cases to Vendor Support
  • Support Business in related application Projects
  • Degree in or Higher Diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology or Business Studies with ICT as course option
  • Min 5 years experience as Systems Analyst or Business Analyst with project management implementation experience, resource management experience and successful track record of application project delivery
  • Knowledge and experience in Retail System
  • Knowledge and experience in Requirement gathering process for development
  • Programming skills in Java will be added advantage
  • Knowledge of SDLC is a must
  • Databases knowledge of MYSQL, Microsoft SQL or Postgres SQL required
  • Relevant working experience in retail industries with Vendor Management skill preferred
  • Posses good analytical, communication and trouble shooting skills and techniques
  • Able to communicate at all level
