Apps Support Analyst

•Process all change records: Extract; Review; and, Lock change records. Reject and raise Issue record to the requestor, if records do not complete according to the requirement of the change management standards and procedures.
•Control and analyze change scheduling to be within the green zone or low peak period of the business operations as agreed and approved by the business and/or management, to ensure optimum system availability and reliability.
•Ensure required forms, document and/or diagrams are attached with the submitted change records.
•Perform first level analysis of change deviation requests, i.e. Priority 2 Business Critical (Unscheduled) change requests and freeze period change requests.
•Follow-up on Priority 1 Break Fix (EMER) records regularization and closure.
•Coordinate and conduct Regional and Asia Pacific Processing Centre Weekly Change Advisory Board meetings.
•Communicate and enforce compliance to the Change Management policies, standards, procedures to users.

•Collate and analyze change statistics and metrics, facilitate the Unit Head the details for resource planning and opportunity for process improvement.
•Ensure prompt updates of region change management metrics
•Maintain currency in the technical and functional knowledge of the Change Management Processes and Tools
•Participation in all incident resolution calls to facilitate incident determination, recovery and resolution.
•Timely incident recognition, logging, assignment and resolution (or bypass / temporary resolution where permanent resolution within the allotted timeframe is not feasible) with proper documentation.
•Incident progression co-ordination and monitoring of Incidents and potential areas through symptoms, trends or deviations from standards

 • Knowledge of Investment Banking and Equities Business (preferred)
• Can perform under pressure and work to deadlines.
• Responsible, committed and self motivated individual.
• Time management skills, ability to prioritize and manage workload efficiently, ability to cope with conflicting priorities in order to meet timelines
• Ability to take responsibility and work independently
• Ability to deal with multiple tasks
• Flexible  to react to changing priorities
• Demonstrate effective communication skills
• Language requirements: Fluent in English (both oral and written)
• Team player

• 3 years related experience in a production/application support.
• ITIL Foundation Certified (preferred)
