SOLUTIONS ARCHITECT Job Description : - Responsible for end to end delivery of technically critical and complex components of ISG Solutions - Responsible for selecting development, test and infrastructure tools needed for development of the ISG Solutions - Responsible for establishing and implementing software development processes - Responsible for developing proof of concepts to validate architecture and/or reduce risk to development of software components - Mentor and provide technical leadership to other software engineers within the team - Participate in requirements gathering/review sessions - Participate in ISG Solution Architecture and Design discussions - Assist with planning, tracking and risk management of development activities as well as partner integration activities Desired skills include : - 12+ years of experience developing enterprise applications using Java/J2EE technologies Well versed with current technology trends and commercial as well as open source offerings - Demonstrated ability and willingness to deal with ambiguity and change - Demonstrated ability and willingness to deal with complex and deep technical problems single handedly - Experience developing enterprise or service provider class software products required - Exposure to portal, enterprise service bus and business process management technologies a plus - Exposure to Telco OSS/BSS software a plus Positive, team oriented, result driven attitude necessary - Good written and verbal communication skills - B.S/M.S in computer science (or equivalent) from a reputed university - Software product company experience a plus
