Responsibilities: Assist Head Chef in all food preparations Manage individual areas of responsibilities Maintain good hygiene & cooking practices Effective & good at cost savings, able to minimize food wastages Check on food quality upon delivery, before & after cooking Able to deliver food items on time with consistent standard & presentations Flexible to menu, promotional and adhoc recipe changes Have strong culinary and leadership skills and the passion to drive continuous improvement in systems and processes in the company Interpersonal skills to operate across all levels and functions of the hotel, as well as with external parties Maintain kitchen equipment in good condition Plan and implement daily food preparation lists for effective production Requirements: Min. 3 years of relevant experience in various cuisines. Experience in Chinese/ Western cooking are advantageous Chefs with sufficient experience will be considered for Head Chef position Added advantage for candidates with catering experience Great team player with effective communication skills Positive, meticulous with leadership skill
