Prerequisites:
B.S. in business or science major; 5 years Sales Operations experience.
In an effort to exceed strategic and operational requirements, the Manager, Sales Operations will support the data process for the US commercial organization. This individual must have extensive industry experience focused on delivering results within the areas of demand reporting, customer master, sales force automation, data warehousing.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Lead effort to re-define and implement sales force automation tools for the US Commercial organization
- Standardize documentation, and change/ release management for all supported processes and tools
- Support long term data strategy as Celgene continues to grow through pipeline development and acquisitions
- Partner with US Commercial members to identify and obtain additional data sources to support key strategies to drive brand imperatives
- Key Sales Operations contact for the US Commercial data process
- Manage internal and external data sources ensuring accurate information flow for reporting, analytics and incentive compensation
- Trouble-shoot and manage data inquiries
- Collaborate on Celgene customer master process including health care providers, accounts and payers.
- Partner with the Commercial Training to develop all training for current and new Commercial employees on the reporting and analytical tools available.
- Form cross-functional partnerships within the other areas of Sales Operations to share business updates and best practices.
- Other Sales Operations responsibilities as deemed necessary
Skills/Knowledge Required:
- BS in relevant business or science major
- Minimum of 5 years experience in Sales Operations
- Strong sense of teamwork
- Thorough understanding of the integrated processes within Sales Operations
- An extensive knowledge of Access and Excel and good knowledge of Word and PowerPoint
- Strong understanding of retail and non-retail data sources including HMS, IMS and Wolters Kluwer
- Excellent communication skills (both oral and written), with the ability to communicate across multiple functions and levels
- Travel as required
