Java Developer

CGI Federal is looking for J2EE Developers for a Health IT project. The selected candidate will become a member of the Software Development Team and will report to the Team Lead. The selected candidate will be responsible for establishing, enforcing, and following coding standards across all systems, implementation deliverables and ensuring on-time delivery of solutions that meet project expectations. We are looking for qualified candidates, both mid level and senior. A related degree is required plus 3-6 years of experience with the following:

-Software development experience

- Hands-on knowledge of J2EE, Web Services, XML, JMS, ESB, and MS SQL Server

- Ability to work in a dynamic and agile environment with changing requirements and priorities.

- Ability to take direction to iteratively define and implement solution as requirements are being identified and finalized.

-Keeping the big picture in mind to ensure that the pieces make up the final solution

- Ability to work independently and conduct self-directed research.

- Experience with: J2EE, Eclipse, Oracle 10g, SOAP/XML, Microsoft Office tools
