NET Developer

Production Operations Lead for project team supporting USAID’s Momentum worldwide implementation.

CGI’s ongoing support at USAID includes providing both technical and financial management expertise. A team of 30 CGI staff support over 1,800 users in 52 locations on five continents. CGI conducts Phoenix (Momentum) operations and maintenance activities. Phoenix operations and maintenance activities include release deployment, custom software development, production cycle and operational support, user support, general IT and technical architecture consulting and support, and implementation of USAID/State Department Joint Financial Management Systems (JFMS) activities. CGI is also beginning upgrade activities to move USAID from Momentum 6.3 to version 7.0.x. This effort will include business process review, requirements gathering, design, development and configuration, testing and training activities. The team also supports the travel and acquisitions projects, providing financial integration expertise and support.

The Production Operations Lead is responsible for a team of about 7-10 members who provide O&M support to users in Washington and overseas. This includes management of the Tier 1-3 World Wide Help Desk and providing recommendations to the client based on thorough analysis and findings.

It is expected that the analyst have a solid background in providing help desk support, leading teams, functional analysis, and requirements gathering. This position expects a certain degree of independent analysis, so self-motivation and the ability to drive and own tasks are preferred. The ideal candidate is a quick learner who can adapt to changing situations. Candidate must develop and maintain working knowledge of Momentum Financial systems functionality and USAID business process in order to address key requirements or user/client inquiries.

The analyst will be required to lead tasks, resources and meetings. Excellent communication skills, both spoken and written are required. The analyst must demonstrate the ability to take on and manage a variety of tasks at any given time. Momentum 6.X/7.x experience is plus.

-Must have a bachelors degree.
-Must have 1 or more years experience with Momentum OR 2+ years managing a help desk
-Have 1 or more years leading and managing others
-Have 1 or more years experience with Federal Financials
-Have 3 or more years as business analyst
-Effective communication skills
-Strong analytical skills
-Ability to work independently as well as a team member
-Experience with SQL
-Must be able to obtain an Interim Secret Security clearance to start employment. Must be able to maintain a Secret Security clearance to continue employment. US Citizenship required.
-Must be able to successfully complete/pass a CGI background check to start employment.

Desired Skills:
-Momentum Financials, 6.0 or higher
-Experience managing production operations
