Job Description

    * The successful candidate will join a dedicated team of professionals involved in providing CH147F helicopter training in the DND Training Centre at CFB Petawawa.
    * During program implementation, this person will be part of the Integrated Training Solution (ITS) team as Flight Engineer Subject Matter Expert (SME) working closely with courseware developers to create training Flight Engineer Lessons Plans and will assist in training the customer’s initial instructional cadre on the delivered product.
    * Post implementation, this person will be responsible to the Group Leader of the Training Program Support Cell (TPSC) in Petawawa and will provide all aspects of the training support including courseware update support, database change review, scenario adjustment, configuration management and assist in standardization.
    * This person will work closely with maintenance support and other training centre support to DND

Job Qualification

    * Graduate of Military Flight Training Program as Flight Engineer.
    * At least five years’ experience as a flight engineer.
    * Successful applicant will possess experience as a qualified military flight engineer, preferably on helicopters and as an instructor.
    * In addition, experience or knowledge of the following subjects: helicopter tactical operations, slung loads, hoisting.
    * Experience in use of rear crew simulators, an asset.
    * Experience operating in tandem rotor helicopters, an asset.
    * Computer Literate.
    * Bilingualism (French and English) is required.
