Trainers for WPLN

Responsibilities: Build a professional, focused, welcoming and trusting atmosphere for customers to gain the most from any training that is being delivered Identify learning needs of participants within the agreed timescales Facilitate group sessions that motivate and encourage participants to identify their skills and experiences, make appropriate employment choices, overcome any barriers and achieve their action plan targets. Design lesson plan and deliver training modules to large and small groups of participants which complement Avanta’s modules and are approved for delivery Ensure learning and job search materials are checked to ensure most current editions are in use, which enable and encourage participants to actively seek employment Prepare and deliver training in line with all designate standards Contribute to review and evaluation of curriculum programmes, self-assessment and the implementation of effective quality improvement plans. Share best practice and resources in training, learning and assessment. Adhere to Avanta’s standards for quality, equality, health and safety, safeguarding and sustainability Requirements: Experienced Trainer with experience for supporting learners from marginal, vulnerable backgrounds Experience with classroom delivery, in particular adult learners Experience of delivering Employability skills. Trainer with ACTA Qualification is essential Confident and adaptable attitude
