Resource Coordinator

Position summary An experienced professional with a thorough understanding of Resource Management processes and how it fits in the Consulting business. As a recognized authority and leading contributor within Resource Management, this senior-level RC position provides consistent high quality and innovative re sourcing leadership. Exercises judgment and business acumen in selecting methods and techniques The SRC will perform varied and complex duties and tasks requiring independent judgment in order to staff project roles with the best-fit consultants in the most advantageous timeframe for customer success. The SRC will be responsible for presenting available internal and external partner resources to fit project demand and budget, and they will effectively partner with and influence consulting management to maximize revenue opportunities, achieve the highest utilization, and increase customer satisfaction. The SRC will use knowledge of Adobe Consulting procedures and methodology, leading staffing practices, and creativity to solve a wide range of problems. The SRC will be able to understand, at a high level, required consulting skill sets across all supported Adobe product and service lines. The SRC requires strong understanding of the tools available to be able to support reporting and provide statistical trend data in terms of open requirements, bench, availability, project staffing mix of resources, skills coverage, etc., as needed for management. Uses statistical trends to proactively identify resourcing issues for the practice and drive resolution Responsibilities Responsible for the collection, management, and communication of detailed resource requirements for your assigned practice Coach PM or EM on best practices related to open requirements (e.g. Common terminology, minimum details, advertising channels, etc.) Proactively identify resources to present for open requirements through a variety of methods including skills searches, discussions to other RCs, escalation calls with peers and management, etc. When no internal candidates are available within the required timeframe, the SRC will leverage external partner resources Understand the policy regarding partner usage and operates within the guidelines Demonstrate broad and deep knowledge of consulting skill sets across all supported Adobe product and service lines Screen and make recommendations on candidate selection with PM or EM Confirm assignment end dates by pro-actively inquiring on extension opportunities Partner with managers to understand assigned consultants skill proficiencies and associated experience Actively monitor the selection/acceptance process for assigned resources Pro-actively monitor the bench and recommend creative ways to utilize consultants who lack high demand skill sets Responsible for data integrity related to assigned requirements (i.e. start dates, staffing owner, skills details, status, candidate feedback) and consultant schedules Support ad hoc resourcing reporting Proactively identify resourcing issues for the practice and make recommendations for resolution Review trends and provide managers analysis on key resourcing metrics Coach assigned practice managers on resourcing roles and responsibilities, processes, policies and rules of engagements Operate as a virtual member of your assigned practice and participate in meetings, bench calls and forecasting calls Conducts business in a manner that provides value and instills confidence in the Resource Management team/function Proactively identify resourcing process or system issues; make recommendations for resolution Participate in development of organization best practices and systems strategy Promote knowledge development by sharing lessons learned or new skills with team members Volunteer to participates on special projects Encourage opportunities for peer networking Participate in All Hands calls, webcasts, and events as directed by management when not in conflict with internal customer obligations Handle differences with others constructively, promptly, and positively Demonstrate exceptional understanding of re sourcing practices by delivering formal presentations related to best practices Requirements Requires a BA/BS or equivalent. Minimum 5-7 years of relevant experience in Resource Management and/or Consulting Professional Services MS Office applications, Excel/Pivot tables, experience. Must be detail-oriented, have a proactive approach and the ability to work with cross-functional teams. Must be able to effectively manage multiple dependency projects against critical deadlines. Ability to work in a team environment with strong people management skills. Strong analytical and problem resolution skills, including the ability to research and simplify complex situations. Self-motivated, strong work ethics and able to work independently with minimal supervision. Ability to prioritize tasks and meet tight deadlines. Fluency in English
