Inside Sales Manager

Founded in 1890, Castle and its affiliates have over 40 operating and sales offices in the United States, Canada, and Mexico which support our domestic and international customers.
This position will:
- Ongoing coaching of all reports. Balance work loads of Inside Sales staff.
- Direct all inside sales activities to ensure achievement of
established objectives for price integrity and acceptable gross profit
- Train new inside sales personnel and evaluate performance of
department personnel.
- Coordinate with key customers, credit, operations, and outside sales
representatives to expedite and troubleshoot customer orders.
- Review customer inventory requirements.
- Review sales orders for appropriate pricing structure and utilization
of inventory.
- Utilize and implement creative and innovative sales techniques to
increase sales volume.
- Manage the quality process within the department.
- Review, investigate, and approve credit memos.
- Work with SPG costing and product training.
- Meet with suppliers.
- Quality meeting, Q.I.T. meetings, and BPI teams.
- Performs other related work as assigned.
- Developmental plans for employees.
- Handle customer calls relating to complaints on orders, investigates
basis of complaint, refers problems to appropriate personnel,
recommend action to rectify problems, and follows up to ensure
- Direct sales as appropriate.
- B.S. in Marketing or its equivalent is required
- Product, Sales, Quality, and appropriate Management/Supervisory
- PC literacy a plus
- Requires a minimum of three years Inside Sales experience
- An additional two years of Outside Sales experience is strongly
- Familiarity with key products, pricing, programs, and services is
mandatory as well as a working knowledge of the Sales Entry System
