Compensation Manager

The Human Resources Department is looking for a Compensation Manager for our Corporate Oak Brook, IL location.

Assist with the global annual wage and salary administration planning and pay increase process
Assist in the market research and analysis and make recommendations for base pay structures and pay increase for the company’s global markets
Review and evaluate new and revised positions
Conduct compensation study and surveys, as needed
Participate in surveys conducted by external organizations
Assist with the design recommendations for new or revised short-term incentive plans, including sales and management incentive plans
Work with other internal departments to review and validate the quarterly and annual incentive plan payments
Insure compliance with federal, state and local compensation regulations
Assist with the annual proxy as it relates to specific compensation disclosures
Assist in the preparation of compensation materials and collaborate with various levels of the organization in communicating and administering compensation programs
Update and manage the equity incentive data base, as needed
Assist with the development of expatriate compensation and incentive plan structure and ensure the total compensation & benefit package is competitive based on current market
Participate in union negotiation preparation
Prepare the annual governmental reporting requirements relating to EEOC, VETS 100, etc.
Work closely with payroll and benefits as part of the Total Rewards team
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Accounting or Finance desired. Master’s degree in Human Resources or Business Administration preferred
5 to 7 years of progressive experience in developing and administering broad base pay and incentive plans. Experience with long-term incentives and equity compensation. Executive compensation is preferred
Strong written and verbal communications, listening and presentation skills. Must be comfortable and persuasive in interactions with peers and senior leadership within the organization
Proficient in Microsoft office suite
Experience with HRIS reporting, data retrieval and troubleshooting
