HR Analyst

The Position We are actively seeking to hire a Human Resources Analyst (HR Analyst) to join the Asia ex-Japan Human Resources team. The position is based in Singapore and will report to the regional Human Resources Manager. The HR Analyst will provide dedicated, professional support to a wide variety of cross-functional HR initiatives, including, but not limited to, Recruitment, Compensation & Benefits, Learning & Development, and Global Mobility. The position will work closely with the Asia ex-Japan HR team (HR Manager, Singapore and HR Analyst, Hong Kong), as well as Tokyo, London and Boston based HR colleagues to address the human resource related needs of the business. The HR Analyst will primarily support our Singapore and Sydney offices, as well as providing back-up to Hong Kong & Beijing as and when necessary. Responsibilities Responsibilities for this position will include the following: • Maintain confidentiality of all information • Act as a central point of reference for internal queries regarding policies, benefits and other related HR matters • Coordinate and track all scheduling of recruitment interviews • Liaise with external recruitment companies, search firms and other third party vendors • Lead administrative support and junior level recruitment activity • On-boarding of new hires, including liaison with background-check vendors, benefit providers, and administration of the New Employee Orientation training program • Partner with HR colleagues in Boston to ensure efficient co-ordination and execution of processes relating to our globally mobile international employee population • Assist with training and development for employees including co-ordination of existing training programs • Administration and development of local benefit plans and local HR policies, in partnership with the firm's global compensation and benefits team • Establish effective partnerships and relationships with HR counterparts in Asia, Europe and the USA Qualifications Candidates must also possess the following qualifications: • A minimum of four years experience working within the human resources function in a support, specialist or generalist role • Experience within the investment management or financial services industry preferred • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Strong computer skills (Microsoft Office & Peoplesoft) • The ability to effectively multi-task, with excellent organizational skills, and attention to detail • Exposure to interviewing, recruitment and candidate selection • Some experience of employee relation work is desirable, as well as possessing the confidence, discretion and maturity to handle sensitive employee issues in a professional services environment • Degree level qualification
