Personal Tax Analyst

Responsibilities: (1) Singapore Income Tax Compliance: - Collate relevant information, analyse, prepare and submit the Employees’ (IAs’) Singapore income tax returns (Form B1) to the IRAS timely Collate relevant information, analyse, prepare and submit the Employers’ Return of Employees’ (IAs’) Remuneration (Form 8E) to the IRAS timely Attend to employees’ (IA) tax queries and act as a liaison between the company, employees and IRAS with regards to Singapore income tax matters (2) Regional Income Tax: - Maintain IA database for AP region Act as an income tax liaison contact in Asia Pacific for employees’ (IAs) tax compliance administrative matters between International HR in USA and Asia Pacific (i.e. assist each country controller on the RSEA requirements, managing the authorised list for tax compliance reporting, coordinate the host country compensation collection exercise, assist in-house contact/external service provider of collation of compensation data) Indonesia income tax compliance Philippines income tax, compliance Philippines FBT review Coordinate with HR/Admin with the tracking of the work days for rotators in Asia Pacific region Assist tax manager in researching tax advice across countries in Asia Pacific, where possible Assist tax manager in running cost projections and tax analysis, upon request Assist tax manager in conducting annual in-house income tax review of process and compliance in each location (3) Ad-hoc tax audit work:- Act as an intermediary with regards to all income tax audit matters between our in-house corporate tax team, respective country tax revenue, our company Local and USA Payrolls and any designated external service provider (4) Other matters: - Monthly/Quarterly/Annual accruals and BS reconciliations Coordinate the billings of expatriates’ tax costs to all locations in AP region Requirements: Degree in management or accounting with at least 5 years of working experience (tax and/or international assignment Analytical mind and a flair for numbers Able to work independently
