Assistant Manager - Facilities & Support Services

I) Position Summary The position : Acts as a Single Point of Contact for the entire operation of the training center at Renaissance and takes care of travel arrangements for employees at Dighi. Renaissance 1. Ensures optimum utilization of the training rooms through proper bookings 2. Ensures optimum utilization of Accommodation through proactive methods and provides a real time data at any given point of time. 3. Operations of Cafeteria for the training participants. 4. Management of team events 5. Takes care of all facility support related matters , ensures consistent service deliveries and resolves issues. 6. Leads and optimize productivity of a team of 10 to 15 service providers. 7. Ensures compliance of legal and statutory requirements to mitigate business risks. 8. Prepares MIS on cost 9. Optimizes costs and fiscal efficiencies through cost initiatives 10. Ensures protection of company assets. 11. Bill processing through due diligence and process compliance. Travel & Hospitality function 12. SPOC for travel bookings and accommodation for Dighi employees. 13. Takes care of air ticketing / train tickets and booking of Guest house / Hotels for the employees at Dighi. 14. Coordinates with vendors of ticketing and cab services. 15. Coordination on travel with other travel coordinators from other regions. Overall responsibility to provide a healthy, safe and productive work environment to the employees and enable smooth conduct of Training b) Major Activities: . 1. Planning and organizing operations of training facility including planned maintenance/repairs & maintenance activities, water & electricity for facilities, upkeep of facilities and ensuring smooth operation of facilities without any down time/loss of training. 2. Room management and ensures communication to the concerned persons. 3. Coordinating security and safety related activities of the Renaissance facility. 4. Ensuring compliance of Legal and statutory requirements from a facilities and administrative stand point. 5. Implementation of Health, safety & environment management initiatives. 6. Facilitating Training and business support activities such as customer visits to our facilities, audits and reviews by customers. 7. . Manage all service providers and vendors to ensure consistent good quality service delivery. 8. Ensuring compliance with all requirements under various quality management certifications such as - ISO 14001/TL 9000, TBEM. Desired Profile II) Person Specification: a) Essential Qualifications: Any Graduate with Hotel management preferred. b) Requisite Skills: Technical Facility maintenance and basic knowledge on UPS/Electrical set up. Functional Understanding of the process of housekeeping, pantry, stationary management, Room management , meeting room management etc. Behavioral Some of the key requirements are inspires team by setting example, customer centric, positive attitude, Meet deadline, flexible about work & timings. c) Work Experience Minimum 4+ years in facility management with exposure to management of training facilities. Experience 4 - 5 Years Role Manager / Sr Manager - Facility Management
