Territory Executive

Internal To create and capitalize on Sales opportunities in given territory. To provide inputs to senior management in Sales strategy formulation. External To carry out business in an ethical, transparent and fair manner and build lasting relationships with the members (farmers, dealers, retailers, franchisee, BHAs and Suppliers etc) of the value chain based on trust. Key Performance Indicators Setting up the distribution network of Dealers and the TKS (Retail) as per the sales plan and the network strategy. Achieving sales and collections targets for the area. Inventory management as per specified norms. Drive market development for the identified range of products. Strengthen relationship with the farmers and improve farmers satisfaction with TCL products (CSI) Job Responsibilities SALES Market evaluation and listing of key market clusters and crops. Assisting Regional Sales Manager in setting the sales targets Setting up the distribution network of Dealer and Tata Kisan Sansar Franchisee ( Retail Network) in the identified clusters. Planning for sales generation through the dealers/ retailers and franchisee. Follow up on orders with the dealers and franchisee. Training of the network on Tata Chemicals product range, pricing and marketing processes. Monitoring consumption in key market centers and monitoring sale by competitors in key market centers. Relationship building with the dealers, retailers & farmers as per the contact plan Monitoring performance and ROI of dealers network and TKS Franchisee. Forecasting of Sales through dealers and franchisee network COMMUNICATION Visiting the end users to understand expectations and communicate the product benefits for the identified crops. Assisting R.S.M./Marketing team in organizing customer meets Conducting crop trials as per the plan and identified targeted crops COLLECTION & CUSTOMER ACCOUNTS Responsible for collection of dues from the dealers/customers and for implementation of the credit policy in the area Ensuring customer accounts are reconciled on a regular basis as per norms PROMOTIONS Ensuring implementation & coordination of promotion plans in the given area with the dealers and star retailers Organizing technical training to dealer staff and retailers on all new crop nutrition offerings DISTRIBUTION & LOGISTICS Monitoring inventory as per specified norms Follow up for material dispatches. Facilitating dispute settlement amongst Dealer, C & FA/ BHA/ Customers FEEDBACK Gathering market intelligence and informing the Regional Sales Manager, on the same Providing feedback on product quality, packaging and other customer expectations to the Regional Sales Manager. Collecting information on the competitive activities and suggesting market development programs. Collecting prices of all competing products and reporting it to the RSM Ensuring generation, updation of required records and reports. Give ideas of cost saving and improving effectiveness and efficiencies of sales operations. Candidate Profile Essential First Class Graduate or Post Graduate (preferably Agriculture) Proficiency in M.S.
