Predictive Analytics Manager
Responsibilities: SingTel is seeking a predictive analytics professional to pursue scientific marketing excellence. The incumbent will apply mathematical algorithms, machine learning and data analytics to discover insights and patterns from data, and integrate findings into closed looped processes that deliver exceptional customer experiences You will develop analytics models that deliver customer propensity scores and product recommendations. In the process, you will engage in the end-to-end process of analytical modeling from data gathering to operational model deployment. You will pursue advanced predictive analytics methodologies, such as real-time models, optimizations and collaborative-filtering, to continuously improve the accuracy and deployment capabilities of predictive models You will build behavioral models and discover insights into the living contexts of our customers, covering the breadth of lifestyle preferences such as online, social, and entertainment. You will conceptualize new analytic methodologies to capture data and insights, architect the technology platform, research and develop relevant algorithms, and deploy the solution into our customer processes You will develop privacy-preserving methods to analyze customer data You will play a consultative role to the business, applying business acumen to identify customer and marketing challenges that can be addressed through analytic modeling You will champion data mining/scoring technology across the business, perform business-case analysis on selected initiatives and maintain ongoing analysis capturing post-implementation results and benefits Requirements: Candidate must possess the following:- Degree in Statistics, Business or Finance. Advanced Degree (Master, PhD) in a highly technical/mathematical discipline would be ideal. At least 3 years developing quantitative models and data analysis, with keen knowledge of Statistical theory and Predictive Analytics techniques. Telecommunication industry experience is preferred but not a necessity for this role Technical knowledge and hands-on experience with applied mathematical algorithms, optimization methods and statistical modeling. The candidate will be required to use these analytic techniques to solve business problems, manage stakeholders, and provide analytics leadership Ability to work with large sets of data and derive business insights Excellent experience with data management and statistical languages / packages such as Base SAS, SAS Enterprise Miner, SQL and R Excellent communication & presentation skills Highly logical & systematic, team player, independent & fast learner
